Del Valle High School Classmates Meet Monthly for Lunch
For the past eight years, classmates from the Del Valle High School Class of 1966 have met monthly for lunch. Bryan Wade was instrumental in getting this well-attended event started as a way to keep his classmates connected. He has also been working on plans for their 50th Reunion next year. Bryan has suggested that we combine some of the reunion activities between Las Lomas and Del Valle, since so many of us know one another from Parkmead School. I was honored to be asked to join the Del Valle group for their December 17 luncheon at Tahoe Joe's in Pleasant Hill. It was great to see some of my classmates from Parkmead who I hadn't seen in more than 50 years, including Bryan Wade, Bob Lunardini, Bill Wiegand and Richard Caris. Bryan plans to attend the next meeting of the Las Lomas 50th Reunion Committe in January 2016 so we can further discuss the possibility of combining some of our reunion events.
