Feb. 14, 1948 – July 15, 2022
Concord
Frank was the youngest of 4 boys born to John and Virginia. He grew up in Walnut Creek and graduated from Las Lomas in 1966, as a star Offensive Lineman on the football team. He was the first in his family to graduate from college, earning a degree from SJSU. He was a member of the National Guard, 270th MP company and was honorably discharged in 1977. He was a member of the Cement Masons Union local 400. He had two children, Joe and Lisa. Later he moved in with Joe and had the opportunity to spend lots of time with the light of his life – his 6 year old granddaughter Scarlett. He is survived by his daughter Lisa and her partner Jasmin; his son Joe and his wife Jenn, and Scarlett; his nephews and nieces John, Janet, Rob, Stephen, Shannon, Ricky, Katie, and Andrew; and their partners and children. Frank was truly a kind, smart, and delightful man. We all loved the hell out of him. His loss is unfathomable. As Katie said, he was and always will be the best table to sit at.
There will be a memorial at the Willow Pass Community Center on Sunday September 25th, from 2 – 7 pm. 2748 E Olivera Rd, Concord.
