Whew….such a lot to remember!!
Now….’til …Then….is how I’ll begin…

Grandchildren and Retirement are my new favorite words!! Retirement opens up more gardening, reading, traveling and fun…including ballet lessons, river rafting and friend time. Grandsons open up arms of love and giggles and more fun and love!! Thirty years of teaching elementary school in Washoe County and 43 years of marriage to my retired middle-school teacher husband, Pat, have kept us in Reno, Nevada. Our son, Ben, now 37, lives in Reno with his wife Julie and our grandsons, Jackson, 7 and Lucas, 5. Masters of Education with a Literacy Specialty from University of Nevada and a San Francisco State History degree and an Elementary Education certification are part of my educational background. Oh….and not to forget, DVC!!! which, as I reflect, offered small and outstanding classes. There was a year of travel around the U.S. with a friend, following graduation from S.F. State. Then, a year working in the international airlines which let me make use of my German….wouldn’t Mr. Ludolph be proud!!
Instant flash thinking of Las Lomas and I think of Miss Elliot and Mrs. Hurd in P.E. and eating a big, fat, partly-melted, wonderful ice cream sandwich at lunch!!
