After graduation I went to DVC obtaining an AA degree in early childhood education. I am the proud parent of two, Erin an elementary teacher living in Southern California and Brian a carpenter, living in Hailey, Idaho. Two beautiful grand boys, Spencer and Donovan fill my heart with joy when I can spend time with them. My husband and best friend Larry and I have traveled the world, but enjoy coming back to home in Alamo. My work has consisted of being a Certified Travel Consultant for 27 years and currently Senior Program Manager for a non-profit working with autistic syndrome, Down syndrome, Asperger’s syndrome, and mentally ill adults, helping them to independence. As for Las Lomas, a favorite memory was Mr. Mahon letting me and other girls run with the Cross County Boys’ team. He pursued having a girls’ team at my request, but our district turned the idea down. I am forever grateful to have had him for an inspiration, that if you don’t try, you won’t know.
