Welcome to the New Website for the Las Lomas High School Class of 1966
Let’s start planning for our 50th Reunion which is now only two years away. To get started, let’s share our memories, photos and videos with one another on this website. Be sure to give your classmates an update on where you are now. Contact us at: LLKnight@LasLomas66.com.
I graduated from Las Lomas in 1966. I only went there for one year, my senior year. I currently live in Walnut Creek on San Miguel, just up the hill from Las Lomas. I am curious about any planned fifty year reunion. I take adult education class at Del Valle and have a friend from College Park High School days that teaches at Las Lomas since 2005 I will be in touch with her. She keeps me posted on LLHS events.

Hi John, Kathy Moore Pavia just let me know that Craig Stoney (senior year only) passed away in about 2009.
Alicia Steele ( Stephen) has Michele Esquivel's info/phone numbers. Let me know what options there are for helping! Also Diane Dodson, Diane Devine, Gail Carr Weller plus Mark Ford on FB. Was sorry to hear about Mickey Pico, we were FB friends a few years back- in Alaska I think.
Thanks for providing this additional information. Any personal information can be sent to LLKnight@LasLomas66.com.
Looking forward to reconnecting with "old" friends!! I spent time with Gaby Manken, our AFS exchange student, last summer in Barcelona where she had lived for the last 40 years. I'd love her to come for the reunion!
Wow! That would be awesome if Gaby could join us for the reunion!
Yippee!!!! 50 Years of memories to share.
Count me in to help in any way !!!!
Looking forward to attending if I can still find the place.
FYI~ Craig Stoney passed away in 2003. I am praying that we don't hear of anymore of our classmates passing away.
Sandie is doing a super job locating our friends.
That’s right! 50 yrs since we tried to change the world…Flower power, Summer of 1969, Love and all of that. Keep us informed of all responses. Anyone remember The SEEDs, ‘Pushin’ Too Hard’? It popped into my head the other day!
Saving like crazy to make the trip from Australia for the reunion. I immigrated to Oz in 1970. Such a brain burst looking at all the posts, remembering funny little things about different ones, etc. Will be such fun to catch up. Very sad to hear of those that have left us.
Looking forward to the 50th reunion next year. The time has gone by so quickly.
I stopped by the LLHS Campus on 20 September as I Have an adult education class on Monday evenings. I thought that I would take some photos. As it turned out, it is Homecoming Week and I took photos of the decorations. It has been so many years since 1965 – 1966 and so many changes hav e taken place on the campus. It is still a beautiful school. I wish that I had pictures from my graduating year there. I hope to be in touch with the reunion committee
I just recieved a reprint of the 1966 school yearbook. It is rather poignant as I look back at all of those young faces 50 years ago. What happened to them? One was killed in action in Vietnam that fall. He was a marine. I think of him as later, I went to Vietnam. I have been to LLHS taking photos recently. I shall compare them to the ones from 1966. What will the world be like fifty years from now as I look at current LLHS students and these students here at College Park High School? This has become my newest hobby. I do look forward to meeting my fellow alumni.
Hope you all have fun… I went to Walnut Heights where my mother was a teacher and I'm sure some of you may have known her back in the 50s. I went on to PHHS and have fond memories of crusing Creek after the football games! Have a great reunion!
Hi John and committee members, I just found this website. I was a member of the class of '66. Hoping I can make the reunion in September. Please make sure I am on your contact list for news as plans develop. I have never received mail or email re any class reunion or Las Lomas news, but I don't see my name on the missing classmates list either. Feel free to share my email: jeanebjerke@gmail.com
Yes Jean. We have your info. Will send more details by email soon!

Hello Class of 1966. I was in the Class of 1957 which was the 3rd graduating class. We only had 3 classes (no seniors) when I started and only 460 total students. Our class had 180 members, including Kathern Ross who went on to be a well known actress (Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid, Stepford Wives, The Graduate) among others. Hoagie burgers were 19 cents and there were waitresses on roller skates at Mels on Main Street. Merrill Callow and George DeKlotz were favorite coaches and everyone loved Mario Menesini (science teacher). There was no 'pill' back then so our best birth control was fear! LL was small back then and all the classes were close. A wonderful experience with great memories. Doug Potter IB111002@aol.com
Ed and I had a great time at the picnic for our 40th reunion and we hope to make it again for the 50th. Thank you to all the committee members for your efforts to put this together. Looking forward to seeing many old friends and catching up on the past 50 years. Wow, hard to believe! Jan Newell
Sorry but I won't be making it down from Idaho for this one.I hope to see lots of pics. HAVE FUN!!!
Great to meet and greet last night. I had a great time and I would like to thank the committee for their work. The details were there. I'm going to take my lanyard to De La Salle where I teach to show off! Thanks, again for all your work, Robin Bradford
